A Brief Introduction to The Wellness League from The Fatty Liver Foundation

I want to invite you to a short webinar to introduce you to a key project of the Foundation that is just coming to life.

We all have many needs that are outside the doctor/patient issues we usually talk about. We need patient oriented tools to help with the many non-doctor issues that we face. The Wellness League is our effort to help by making the connection to services easier. If you can't attend go ahead and register and we will send you the recording.

Webinar Speakers

Wayne Eskridge (CEO & Co-Founder @Fatty Liver Foundation)
Wayne Eskridge was first diagnosed with liver disease in 2010 and, as a result of his own experiences, he became aware of an acute need for an educational resource from a patient perspective. At the core of his motivation is the fact that an estimated 100 million Americans already have fatty liver disease and are unaware of it. While there is currently no medical treatment for NAFLD/NASH, lifestyle changes can be effective. Prevention through education is the only practical solution today. His desire to help others avoid his experiences led him to the decision to become a patient advocate and to create the Fatty Liver Foundation.

Neeraj Mistry (Chief Medical Officer @Fatty Liver Foundation)
Dr. Mistry is a public health physician with wide ranging experience in HIV/AIDS and neglected tropical diseases having served as the Managing Director of the Global Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases. He brings extensive global health policy and programming experience having worked in both the public and private sectors, in clinical practice, health policy, and social development. Prior to accepting a position teaching at Georgetown University, he was engaged by the National Health Service in London, and with Merck & Co. He was a founding member of the Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. He worked with the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the Global Fund, where he continues to support the technical review panel.
